Terms of Service
Last updated: April 13, 2026
By accessing or using the SearchIT API and dashboard, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the service.
1. API Usage
You agree to use the API responsibly and not to abuse the service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if we detect abusive patterns, including but not limited to:
- Rate Limit Evasion: Attempting to bypass rate limits or credit deduction mechanisms.
- Malicious Intent: Using the service for illegal, scraping, or malicious activities.
- Reselling: Reselling or repackaging the API without an explicit Enterprise agreement.
2. Credits and Billing
API requests consume credits from your prepaid balance. Credits are non-refundable unless required by law. If your account runs out of credits, your API access will be restricted with a 402 error until you purchase a new credit pack.
3. Uptime and SLAs
SearchIT is provided "as is" and "as available". While we strive for 99.99% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service or latency SLAs for non-Enterprise tiers.
4. Liability
SearchIT acts as a metasearch proxy to provide formatted results for AI models. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or legality of the search results returned by upstream engines.
