At SearchIT, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our API and dashboard.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect the minimum information required to provide our service:

• Account Information: When you sign in via OAuth (e.g. GitHub) or email, we store your email address and name.
• Usage Data: We log aggregated API requests (e.g., endpoint accessed, response time, credits consumed) strictly for billing and platform analytics.

2. Search Queries Are Not Logged

Your privacy is our core feature. We do not log, store, or sell the contents of your search queries. The `query` parameter passed to our `/v1/search` endpoint is processed entirely in memory, cached ephemerally using hashed identifiers, and immediately discarded.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with trusted third parties necessary for platform operation, specifically Stripe for secure payment processing. We do not integrate tracking pixels or analytics platforms that harvest your usage data.
